Worship Service

We are a church that is focused on preaching Biblically based teachings for everyday living and understanding. We believe that the Bible is a handbook for life and in it, God gives us the wisdom to navigate the trials and triumphs of this world. Our services are from 11:00 am-12:30 pm and start with praise and worship where the entire church (children, adults, church staff, etc.) sing & worship the Lord together, led by our worship team. After praise and worship, the children are escorted to the children’s church in the educational center of the church.

Communion is every 2nd and 4th Sunday at 11:00 am.

Preaching & Teaching

The majority of our Sunday sermons are preached by our lead pastor, Pastor Duane A. McKinney, but other ministry staff preach from time to time. All sermons provide encouragement, inspiration and enlightenment on how the Word of God can be applied to everyday living. Wednesdays is Bible study for the entire family Adults meet in the sanctuary for a more intimate time of studying the Word together through open discussion. The children have Bible study in the fellowship hall, and teen youth group meet in educational wing.

What to Wear

We truly believe that God frees us to come to church as we are, however, when you come to Encounter Life Church, you will see many people in casual attire. Our approach is casual but reverent. Many times you will see our pastor in jeans and a sports coat.

What About My Kids

On Sunday, there are classes for ages birth to 12 years old. When youth reach the age of 12, they attend the regular Sunday service. For Wednesday night Bible study there are classes for children ages 4 to 12 and classes for teens ages 13 to 18. We also sponsor various youth events and throughout the year.
