Because God owns it all (and lets us manage it) we bring some of our income back to God as an act of worship. We practice generosity and have experienced that it is truly better to give than to receive. We give, not to get, but because we have freely received.

There are 4 ways to give at Encounter Life:

1. Sunday morning during worship
Each Sunday morning, we celebrate God by bringing a portion of our income back to Him. As an act of worship, you are invited to bring a tithe or an offering.

2. Online Giving
You can easily give online through e-check, debit card, check card, or credit card. You can give one time or set-up a recurring donation (which can be scheduled with your payday to bring your “firstfruits” back to God). This is a simple and easy way to stay disciplined in bringing part of your income back to God when life gets busy or you are out of town.

 

3. Text-to-Give
Text-to-Give is the easiest way to give quickly! Simply text the amount you want to give to 301-804-6710. It’s that simple! If you’ve never set up Text-to-Give, you’ll be prompted to add a payment method.

Note about credit card giving: Revolving credit card debt is not God’s best for anyone. If you choose to give with a credit card, we trust you pay off your balance monthly.
